We are seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Operative to work on void properties and social housing across Bristol. This is a fast‑paced role focusing on preparing empty social housing properties for re‑letting. You will carry out a varied range of repairs, replacements, and finishing work to bring homes up to a safe and lettable standard.

Your new role

As a multi-skilled operative, duties will include but are not limited to:

• Complete multi‑trade repairs and refurbishments within void social housing properties.
• Carry out carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating, and general repairs.
• Replace internal doors, skirting boards, architraves, frames, fixtures, and fittings.
• Install, adjust, or repair kitchen units, worktops, cupboard doors, and basic plumbing fixtures.
• Patch plastering and making good damaged walls and ceilings.
• Wall and floor tiling, re‑grouting, and sealing.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be a confident, self‑managing operative with experience working in social housing or similar residential environments. You must be able to complete a variety of trades to a high standard and work efficiently in empty properties with tight turnaround times. With at least 2 years in a similar role.

You will also need to hold a valid UK driving license as may be required to work at multiple sites.
