Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (French / Spanish / German)
Secondary Schools | Coventry & Warwickshire Permanent & Long‑Term Opportunities | September Start ECTs warmly welcomed

We’re working with a group of forward‑thinking secondary schools across Coventry and Warwickshire who believe languages are about far more than exams — they’re about confidence, culture, curiosity and communication.
If you’re an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Language teacher who wants to work in a supportive environment where your subject is truly valued, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

The Role
You’ll be delivering engaging, high-quality MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available in some schools), inspiring pupils to develop both their linguistic ability and their global outlook.

Languages offered vary by school and may include:
  • French
  • Spanish
  • German

Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher looking for the right start, or an experienced practitioner ready for a fresh challenge, schools are open to meeting strong candidates who bring energy, adaptability and passion for languages.

What Makes These Roles Different
  • Schools with strong leadership and clear behaviour policies
  • Departments where MFL is respected, invested in, and growing
  • Collaborative teams who share resources and ideas
  • Real commitment to staff wellbeing and work–life balance
  • High-quality support for ECTs, including mentoring and reduced timetable where applicable
  • Opportunities for career progression and leadership, if desired

Who We’re Looking For
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ✅ UK teaching experience (including placements) ✅ A genuine passion for MFL and inclusive teaching ✅ The ability to engage, motivate and challenge learners ✅ ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

Schools are based across Coventry and Warwickshire, with good transport links and a mix of urban and semi‑rural settings — offering flexibility depending on your commute and preference.
