Mobile Repair Technician – Gas | Chester | £42,000 +plus DOE

Location: Chester & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £42,000 + excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours, Monday–Friday)

About the Role
A leading UK facilities management provider is looking for an experienced Mobile Gas Repair Technician to join their high-performing maintenance team. This is a mobile role working across commercial sites in the Chester region, carrying out repairs, fault-finding and planned maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and well‑maintained environments for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
  • Diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all completed works.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site teams.
  • Work independently, managing your own diary and workload effectively.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a mobile gas engineering or building services maintenance role.
  • Strong fault-finding and technical expertise across commercial heating and gas systems.
  • Solid background in FM, building services or commercial maintenance environments.
  • Gas Safe Registered with relevant ACS certifications (e.g., CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
