Location: Chester & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £42,000 + excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours, Monday–Friday)

About the Role

A leading UK facilities management provider is looking for an experienced Mobile Gas Repair Technician to join their high-performing maintenance team. This is a mobile role working across commercial sites in the Chester region, carrying out repairs, fault-finding and planned maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and well‑maintained environments for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
Diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all completed works.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site teams.
Work independently, managing your own diary and workload effectively.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a mobile gas engineering or building services maintenance role.
Strong fault-finding and technical expertise across commercial heating and gas systems.
Solid background in FM, building services or commercial maintenance environments.
Gas Safe Registered with relevant ACS certifications (e.g., CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1).
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
