Mobile Repair Technician – Electrical Commercial
Mobile Repair Technician – Electrical | Swindon & Surrounding Areas | £30,000–£42,000 DOE
We’re recruiting a Mobile Repair Technician to carry out electrical maintenance and repairs across a variety of retail premises in Swindon and nearby areas. If you’ve got strong commercial electrical experience and want to work in a team that values collaboration, sustainability, and personal growth—this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Electrical maintenance and repairs on retail sites such as Smyths Toys and Carphone Warehouse.
- Fault-finding, fuse board inspections, socket/switch repairs, PAT testing, rewiring, and emergency lighting tests.
- Ensuring electrical compliance and safety across all works.
✅ What You’ll Need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Proven commercial electrical experience.
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Full UK Driver’s License (no more than 6 points).

- Salary: £30,000–£42,000 per year (depending on experience).
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday).
