Are you an experienced M&E Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role where you can make a real impact? Do you have a strong understanding of Safe Systems of Work and a commitment to delivering high-quality technical services? If so, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

As an M&E Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and timely delivery of contractual obligations while maintaining compliance with JSP375. You will be responsible for assessing the competence of skilled personnel, producing high-quality Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and providing technical support to site teams, supply chain partners, and end users. Your expertise will be vital in supporting project work, reducing corrective actions, and identifying opportunities to help the MoD achieve its carbon reduction targets.

This role also involves providing professional advice on MOD Safe Systems of Work, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring that maintenance and operational procedures meet the highest standards. You will work closely with the Senior Management Team, supporting projects, and advising on any deficiencies that could impact estate safety and compliance.

Collaboration is key in this role—you will build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless operational delivery. You’ll also provide supervision, assessment, and coaching to Skilled Persons, ensuring they are fully trained and operating safely within regulations.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you must be a fully qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer and ideally hold AP tickets in Electrical or Mechanical, but this is not essential as we are prepared to put the successful candidate through all AP tickets if necessary.

You should have significant practical experience with Safe Systems of Work, particularly in the management and operational delivery of JSP375. You should be confident in problem-solving, decision-making, and working independently across multiple sites. Experience in supervising site operations, resource management, and staff leadership is essential.

A full UK driving licence is required, as you will be expected to travel across sites and participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota when necessary.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and technically skilled professional to take ownership of a vital role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. If you're ready to take on this challenge and contribute to the success of our operations, apply today!

What We Offer
  • 6% employee matched pension contribution
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Company car/car allowance
  • Single private medical cover
  • Career progression and nationally recognised qualifications
