Established Regional Firm Seeks Commercial Litigation Solicitor (2-4PQE)

Our client is looking for a talented and ambitious commercial litigation solicitor, with 2-4 years PQE, to join their disputes team in Leeds. The firm have an established regional base with a strong reputation for putting people at the heart of everything they do. Widely accredited lawyers make up the team, giving you the opportunity to benefit from a wealth of complex litigation experience.
Our client covers a full range of dispute matters, resolving them at pre-action stage via negotiation, during mediation or, if necessary, within court proceedings. They have advised individuals and companies on a wide range of commercial disputes including civil fraud claims, shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, and trading relationships. Their clients range from high profile charities to property investors, railway companies, and other legal professionals, offering you a unique and varied caseload to be working with from the offset. Their will to view the bigger picture from a client’s perspective centres the practical realities of a situation to achieve the best and most efficient outcomes. The firm have presided over and navigated complex high-profile claims, settling claims with eight-figure headline valuations at mediation. You are thus presented with a great opportunity to work for a reputable yet collaborative firm with considerable expertise available to support your development.

What you'll need to succeed

Knowledge of legal frameworks, contractual obligations, and available solutions are essential criteria for you to successfully integrate into this firm’s excellent disputes department. You will need to be a collaborative team player who is passionate about a career in the realm of commercial dispute resolution. You will also display unparalleled communication skills, both orally and in writing, and exude a pleasant, approachable manner when dealing with colleagues and clients.
