MFL Teacher (French) to start immediately, 2 days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday), KS2 (Year 3 - 6)

Are you a passionate French-speaking teacher ready to make a difference in a vibrant and inclusive school community?
A primary school in the B25 area is seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher (French) to join their team as soon as possible on a long-term basis, teaching KS2 pupils (Years 3–6) two days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday) until the end of the academic year, July 2026.

Your new role

As an MFL teacher, you will,
  • You’ll be delivering engaging French lessons that spark curiosity and build language confidence in pupils across upper primary years.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback that supports improvement.
  • Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that supports learning for all.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated phase team.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching MFL (French) at primary level
  • Fluency in French or French as an additional language
  • Enthusiastic and reflective classroom practitioner
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Commitment to high standards and inclusive education
