Your new role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of mechanical systems for a range of building services projects. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role includes producing design calculations, drawings, and specifications, as well as supporting sustainability initiatives and site coordination.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have: - A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or an HNC/HND with relevant experience - At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in building services design - Proficiency in design software such as Revit, Amtech, Relux/DIALux, and Microsoft Office - Familiarity with UK Building Regulations, British and European Standards - Understanding of renewable technologies and sustainable design principles - Working knowledge of BREEAM and an appreciation of electrical engineering - Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE, IET) - Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
