Your new role
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Planning creative lessons that inspire a love of literature and language
- Assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress effectively
- Contributing positively to department planning and wider school life
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for English
- Ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
