A successful and supportive secondary school in London is seeking an enthusiastic Temporary Maths Teacher to join the department on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who can quickly build rapport and deliver high-quality lessons that keep students engaged and progressing.

Your new role

Temporary position covering KS3 and KS4 Maths (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Deliver well-structured and inspiring lessons aligned with the school curriculum
Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment
Use assessment data to support student progress throughout the contract period
Work collaboratively with the Maths department to ensure consistency and high standards.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT working toward completion
Solid subject knowledge with the ability to explain concepts clearly and creatively
Experience teaching in a secondary school environment
Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt quickly in a temporary post
Organised, proactive, and confident when stepping into an existing team
Ability to motivate students and support varying abilities
