This is a full‑time Maths Teacher role, open to candidates from either mainstream or SEN backgrounds, as well as teachers keen to develop experience across both.
You will deliver engaging and accessible maths lessons that build confidence, understanding and progress for all pupils. The role involves adapting teaching approaches, using inclusive strategies and working closely with support staff to ensure learning is meaningful and achievable for pupils with varying abilities and additional needs.
Whether you are an experienced SEN teacher with strong maths expertise or a mainstream maths teacher with a passion for inclusion, this role offers professional growth and the chance to make a real impact.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching maths
- A genuine passion for inclusive education
- Ability to differentiate and adapt lessons effectively
- Positive, proactive classroom management skills
- Willingness to work collaboratively with staff and support teams
- Openness to professional development in SEN and adaptive teaching
Experience in SEN is not essential, as training and support will be provided. The school is keen to hear from teachers who are motivated, flexible and committed to inclusive practice.
