Maths and Science Teacher required – Full-time job for Autumn term
- Start date: 24th August 2026
- End date: 18th December 2026
- Full-time & long-term role
- Teaching KS3/4 Maths & Science
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-19 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths and Science Teacher. This is a full-time and long-term job for the Autumn term. There is a possibility this could extend or become permanent for the right candidate. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Job Description
- Delivering engaging and creative Maths and Science lessons at KS3 and KS4
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Recent experience teaching Maths and/or Science at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
