Your new role
As a Materials Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the production process. You’ll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating material requirements to meet production targets and customer demand. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inventory levels and optimising stock control
- Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials
- Analysing demand forecasts and adjusting plans accordingly
- Working closely with production and procurement teams to maintain efficiency
- Identifying and resolving potential supply chain issues proactively
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Materials Planner, Production Planner, or similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of MRP systems, inventory management, and supply chain principles
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
