A leading global financial institution is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Markets Policy Governance Analyst to join its governance and compliance team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple regions including the UK, Europe, MEA, and Asia Pacific, supporting enterprise-wide policy oversight and documentation standards.

Your new role

As the primary contact for Markets Policy Governance, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and clarity of policy-related documentation across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
  • Oversight and monitoring of Markets Policy documents, including Operating Manuals
  • Supporting governance forums and committees with presentation materials and meeting notes
  • Participating in control execution, quality assurance, and documentation activities
  • Tracking and managing follow-up actions to ensure timely execution
  • Partnering with document owners to ensure policies meet enterprise-wide standards
  • Reviewing policy content for compliance and identifying potential risks
  • Maintaining control reports and ensuring secure document retention
  • Assisting with investigations and responses to feedback on policy documents
  • Collaborating with internal policy teams and business functions
  • Supporting the preparation and maintenance of governance forum materials
  • Applying sound ethical judgment and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a proactive and analytical professional with:
  • Experience in policy governance, compliance, or risk management within financial services
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and enterprise-wide governance standards
