Marketing Manager (12 Month Maternity Cover) – Food & Bev Sector - City of London (hybrid) - £45,000

Your new company
You’ll be joining a values‑led organisation recognised for delivering exceptional hospitality, food service and customer experience across a national, multi-site contract. The business is known for its innovation, strong partnerships and commitment to creating engaging environments for customers and clients alike. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that is passionate about service, creativity and making a measurable impact.

Your new role
As the Marketing Manager for a major national contract (12‑month maternity cover), you will lead the full marketing strategy and execution across a diverse estate. This is a high‑impact role responsible for driving customer engagement, participation, brand perception and commercial performance.

You will act as the key marketing link between internal teams and senior client stakeholders, ensuring all communications, campaigns and initiatives are strategically aligned and commercially effective. Your work will span strategic planning, campaign development, content creation, trade marketing, supplier partnerships, event activation, reporting and innovation delivery.

You’ll oversee annual and quarterly marketing plans, manage contract-wide communications, deliver site engagement initiatives, support industry events, and produce regular performance reporting. This is a role that blends strategy, creativity and hands‑on delivery.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience delivering marketing campaigns, events and multi‑channel communications.
  • Background in hospitality, retail, food service or customer‑facing environments is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work confidently with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership and client teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing customer insight, sales data and campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across a variety of platforms.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) is desirable.
  • A proactive, creative, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

What you'll get in return
You’ll have the opportunity to shape and lead the marketing direction of a flagship national contract, gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and contributing to a vibrant culture of innovation. In this influential role, you’ll drive meaningful engagement, develop award‑worthy campaigns, and see the real impact of your work across high-profile estate.
You’ll also join a supportive, collaborative team environment that values creativity, autonomy and personal development - offering variety, visibility and the chance to make a measurable difference over the contract period.
