MARKETING & INSIGHTS ANALYST, PETERBOROUGH, HYBRID WORKING OPTIONS, 12 MONTH FTC ROLE

I am working in partnership with a commercial organisation based in Peterborough who are looking to appoint a Marketing & Insights Analyst to help support their marketing team. This is a hybrid role: 3 days onsite, 2 days working remotely. The contract is a 12-month initial assignment (expected duration: 14–15 months).

The role:
As a key member of the marketing function, you’ll lead the development and delivery of market intelligence and insights that informs business strategy and commercial growth. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure timely, accurate, and relevant insights are shared across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver market and macroeconomic reports via internal portals
  • Conduct bespoke research using AI tools to support strategic initiatives
  • Share competitive intelligence and industry trends with stakeholders
  • Identify commercial opportunities through research and collaboration
  • Design and run Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Business programs
  • Build and maintain market models (size, share, growth projections)
  • Support custom research requests from Marketing, Product and BD teams
  • Promote a culture of insight-led decision-making
Technical skills required:
  • Salesforce and database management skills
  • Power BI (preferred) for data visualisation
  • Advanced Excel for analysis and reporting
  • SharePoint proficiency
  • Experience using AI tools for research
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3–5 years working in a strategic, marketing, market research or insights and analytics role
  • Experience in market intelligence or demand planning is a strong plus.
Education:
  • Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field
