Job Summary
The Manufacturing Operator II is responsible for supporting the production process by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instruction Documents, and blueprints/drawings related to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging.

Location Onsite – Basingstoke (Wade Road)
Employment Type : Full-time, 6‑month contract
Hours: 40 hours/week
Overtime: Available
Shift Pattern Weekly rotating shifts:
- Week 1: Monday–Friday | 06:00–14:00
- Week 2: Monday–Friday | 14:00–22:00
Pay Rate : £13.20 per hour (excluding 20% shift) allowance)
Start Date : ASAP
Interview Process 1 stage – Onsite interview (30 minutes)
Key Responsibilities
- Follow manufacturing SOPs and GMP requirements
- Complete production floor documentation accurately (weights, dates, times, etc.)
- Start, stop, and monitor conveyor systems
- Assist with equipment validation
- Read and interpret work orders; set up materials accurately on production lines
- Inspect materials, products, and containers at each stage of the process
- Fill, weigh, adjust, close, seal, label, and pack containers
- Perform line clearance, including reconciliation and disposal of materials
- Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, and tools
- Maintain housekeeping and quality standards in line with ISO/cGMP regulations
- Use PPE correctly and comply with chemical hygiene and safety requirements.
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment (or relevant training)
Skills & Abilities
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagrammatic instructions
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Comfortable using manufacturing systems (e.g. QAD, AGILE)
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Full English language proficiency
