Your new role

As Production Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic manufacturing operation, driving process efficiency, product introduction, and strategic improvement projects. You’ll work cross-functionally to refine workflows, introduce new products seamlessly to the shop floor, and lead ergonomic initiatives that uplift productivity and safety.
Key areas of focus will include:
  • Optimising production processes and supporting new product integration
  • Enhancing workplace ergonomics and designing tooling for operator comfort
  • Coaching and mentoring shop floor staff in engineering best practices
  • Supporting long-term cost reduction through lean methodologies and data-driven analysis
  • Conducting root cause investigations and leading cross-functional problem-solving initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Creo CAD and Windchill PLM systems
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing workflows and design for manufacture
  • Excellent coaching, problem-solving and cross-departmental communication skills
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and ergonomic assessments
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for continuous improvement
