Your new role

Reporting to the FC, this role will primarily be responsible for providing profit reporting and management accounts information for a specific business unit. You will lead on specific invoicing processes for your stakeholders and support at month-end, year-end, and financial compliance.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Monthly management accounts production
  • Preparing P&L reviews for the division
  • Variance analysis
  • Prepare yearly budgets and regular forecasting and re-forecasting
  • Bespoke invoicing reporting and query resolution
  • Posting journals
  • Producing a weekly gross profit report
  • Preparing the monthly balance sheet
  • Reconciliation of monthly GP report and management accounts
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours a week between Monday and Friday, but the exact working pattern can be flexible. The company operates a hybrid working policy of up to 2 days a week, working remotely.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar management accounting capacity, ideally gained within a production or manufacturing type environment. You will understand product costing and analysis and have excellent data manipulation skills. You must be able to disseminate data and be able to draw useful conclusions from data analysis. Experience using Sage 200 would be advantageous but not essential.
