Our client is an education-based organisation in Manchester is looking for a self-starter and driven Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their team.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for;
- Work with various stakeholders with all financial planning, budget and forecast processes and consolidating results for their areas, meeting with budget holders as appropriate. 
- Prepare and review the monthly management accounts, provide insightful management information and financial analysis and deliver to tight deadlines 
- Assisting in the preparation of the costing and financial aspects of business plans for new and current developments and activities 
- Seek opportunities to continuously improve procedures as necessary to adequately support the business activities 
 
- Produce monthly and other ad hoc financial reports and ensure that these are distributed to the relevant Budget Holder and that appropriate action is taken where necessary 
- Responsible for ensuring that financial reconciliations are undertaken on a timely basis, as required 
- Oversee preparation and inputting of journals 
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
Working towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience
Experience of working within finance in a large, complex organisation demonstrating ability to work collaboratively and proactively across organisational boundaries
A high level of proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other financial software
An ability to work independently and as part of a team
An ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
What you'll get in return
