Your new role
As Management Accountant, you will be a key contributor to the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts
  • Producing monthly management packs including P&Ls, balance sheets and cashflow reports
  • Ensuring all general ledger control accounts, accruals and prepayments are fully reconciled and accurate
  • Supporting intercompany reconciliations across multiple international offices
  • Completing quarterly VAT returns and regulatory surveys
  • Preparing statutory accounts schedules and assisting significantly with year‑end financial statements
  • Reviewing management accounts, variance reports and ensuring accurate distribution
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance reporting processes, documentation, and internal controls
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Handling complex management accounting queries and providing timely analysis
  • Working closely with finance systems teams to enhance reporting tools
  • Liaising with auditors and building strong working relationships across the business
This is a varied, hands‑on role offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Proven experience producing consolidated management accounts and monthly reporting
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel (macros advantageous), and experience with modern finance systems
  • Previous experience in professional services is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to improve processes and implement best practice
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting financial information
  • Strong relationship‑building skills across all levels of a business
  • A proactive, methodical approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider finance team
