Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in producing accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that supports effective decision‑making across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Accountant to step into a hands‑on role where you can build and strengthen your management accounting expertise.
You will be responsible for preparing monthly and weekly management accounts, delivering variance and margin analysis, supporting budgeting activities, and assisting with statutory accounts preparation and audit queries. You’ll reconcile key balance sheet accounts, partner with site management to identify business improvement opportunities, and contribute to transformation projects aimed at enhancing systems, processes, and financial reporting standards.
With strong exposure to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams, this role will give you the chance to influence performance and drive continuous improvement across the finance function.
What you'll need to succeed
- A newly qualified accountant (ICAI, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in management accounting (preferred but not essential)
- Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling and analytical ability
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central (desirable)
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
