Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic organisation that operates across multiple commercial sites, delivering services that make a real difference in people’s lives.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a purpose-driven team. You’ll play a key role in supporting financial operations across hospitality and commercial ventures, helping drive strategic decisions and operational efficiency.


Your new role
  • Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Provide financial support to department heads to aid decision-making.
  • Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Participate in monthly stocktakes and ensure ledger accuracy.
  • Lead credit control and aged debtor reviews.
  • Support payroll processing and liaise with HR.
  • Assist with audits and internal financial controls.
  • Deliver training on financial processes across commercial sites.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (or ability to meet mobility requirements).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable:
  • Experience with Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
  • Background in hospitality or social enterprise environments.
