Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support the delivery of high-quality financial operations and oversee the workload of a Finance Operations team of six (no line management). You will produce accurate monthly management accounts, maintain balance sheet integrity, and oversee forecasting and variance analysis. You will provide cover for senior finance leadership when required, review payroll and operational finance activities, and ensure strong financial controls are in place. The role also includes supporting statutory reporting (including HMRC), audits, and continuous improvement of financial processes, while working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience in management accounting, reporting, and financial analysis. You will be confident working with senior stakeholders, able to challenge yourself constructively and provide clear financial insight. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential, along with a solid understanding of financial controls. You will be comfortable working in a changing environment, have strong Excel skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
