Maintenance Supervisor to be based in Norwich

Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Norwich
Salary: £36,000 – £46,000 per annum (based on experience and qualifications)


Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day maintenance of commercial buildings
  • Supervise a team of skilled technicians and coordinate specialist contractors.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory frameworks (e.g. L8 water hygiene, fire safety).
  • Manage systems including
  • HVAC and mechanical/electrical plant
  • Passive fire protection (e.g. fire doors, compartmentation)
  • Building fabric and infrastructure
  • Support emergency response, system shutdowns, and asset lifecycle planning.
Skills and experience required:

  • Supervisory experience in complex facilities (e.g. research, NHS, high-containment).
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, fire safety, and fabric maintenance.
  • Proficient in CAFM systems and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
  • Confident in prioritising tasks and managing contractors
