Maintenance Joiner is required for established maintenance company in the Bangor, Newtownards and Belfast area

Your new company

Our client, an established and reputable private maintenance company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Joiner to join their team. This is a mobile role covering multiple sites across Newtownards, Bangor, and Belfast.


Your new role

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance and joinery services across a range of residential and/or commercial properties.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Carry out general joinery and maintenance works across multiple sites
  • Undertake repairs and installations including:
    • Doors, frames, skirting, architraves
    • Kitchens and fitted units
    • Flooring and basic structural repairs
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Assist with other general maintenance duties where required (basic plumbing, patch repairs, etc.)
  • Diagnose faults and complete work efficiently to a high standard
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
  • Maintain a professional approach when interacting with clients and tenants
  • Keep accurate records of work carried out
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience as a joiner/carpenter within a maintenance environment
  • Valid CSR Card
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for multi-site travel)
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and flexible approach
Desirable Criteria
  • Relevant trade qualification (Joinery/Carpentry)
  • Experience in mobile or multi-site maintenance roles
  • Basic knowledge of other trades (multi-skilled background advantageous)
