Your New Role

Working as a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within the facility.

What You'll Need To Succeed

In order to be considered for this position, you will ideally need to be time-served within a maintenance discipline and be able to demonstrate a history of relevant hands-on experience within a manufacturing/production setting(s). To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with proven experience in a similar maintenance role. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A proactive approach and a commitment to continuous improvement will be essential in achieving success in this position.

What You'll Get In Return

For working core hours within a days rota (Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30) you will earn a competitive salary which will be fully determined by experience and performance at interview. This is also supplemented with an enhanced OT rate. An element of on-call flexibility will also be required, which will attract an additional earning premium. This role will provide you with a clear progression and development plan as the business is succession planning for the future.
