Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Your new role
- Performing planned maintenance and reactive repairs on production machinery and site infrastructure
- Diagnosing faults quickly and implementing effective solutions
- Supporting shift engineers and collaborating across departments
- Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene
- Participating in continuous improvement projects and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency
- Assisting with training and development of colleagues
- Contributing to installation and modification projects across the site
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- A methodical and detail-focused approach to maintenance
- Electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications or experience
- Solid understanding of plant maintenance systems and HACCP principles
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- IPAF certification
- 18th Edition electrical qualification
- PLC programming experience
- Previous experience in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment
