Maintenance Electrician

Your new company

A well-established commercial contractor is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support the delivery of electrical maintenance services across medical centres and GP surgeries throughout Cheshire. This is a temporary position with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

You will play a vital role in maintaining safe and compliant healthcare environments, carrying out a variety of electrical maintenance tasks across multiple sites.

Your new role

  • Carrying out reactive and planned electrical maintenance in doctors’ surgeries and medical centres
  • Fault finding and repairs on lighting, power, and associated electrical systems
  • Ensuring all works comply with relevant electrical and health & safety regulations
  • Completing job records and reporting additional repair requirements
  • Delivering a professional, customer-focused service in a healthcare setting

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Electrician with experience in building maintenance or similar environments
  • Electrical testing qualifications not required, but highly desirable
  • Experience working in occupied buildings (healthcare experience advantageous but not essential)
  • Ability to manage your own workload across multiple sites
  • Full UK driving licence
