Groundwork Foreman

Groundwork Foreman – Residential Development
Location: Maidstone
Project: Groundworks Package – New Build Residential Development

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Groundwork Foreman to oversee the groundworks package for a new-build residential development in Canterbury, starting in August 2025. This is a great opportunity to lead a skilled team on a high-quality housing project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate groundwork teams on site
  • Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification
  • Manage daily site activities including excavation, drainage, foundations, and external works
  • Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience as a Groundwork Foreman on residential projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of groundwork processes including drainage, foundations, and site preparation
  • SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred
