M&E CAD Technician

Job Description: M&E CAD Technician (Up to £35,000)

About the Role:
As an M&E CAD Technician, you will support the design and delivery of mechanical and electrical building services projects across the leisure, residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors. You’ll work closely with engineers to produce accurate technical drawings and contribute to coordinated design packages.
This role suits someone with strong CAD capability who wants to grow within a supportive consultancy environment. Revit experience is advantageous but not required—training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Drawings — Produce detailed 2D M&E CAD drawings to support engineering designs.
  • Model Coordination — Assist with 3D model updates and coordination activities.
  • Project Support — Work with mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver accurate design packages.
  • Documentation Management — Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and project documentation.
  • Cross‑Sector Delivery — Contribute to projects across leisure, residential, commercial, and healthcare environments.
  • Quality Assurance — Ensure drawings meet internal standards and client requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
  • CAD proficiency — Strong AutoCAD skills essential.
  • Revit exposure — Experience beneficial but not mandatory; training available.
  • M&E knowledge — Understanding of building services layouts and terminology.
  • Attention to detail — Ability to produce accurate, high‑quality drawings.
  • Communication — Comfortable collaborating with engineers and project teams.
  • Time management — Able to work to deadlines across multiple projects.
