September 2026 – Christmas 2026 | Potential to Extend or Become Permanent
Hays Education is working in partnership with a rapidly improving secondary academy in Bradford to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join their team from September 2026 until Christmas 2026. There is strong potential for the role to continue beyond the initial contract and, for the right candidate, become a permanent appointment.

The successful candidate will:
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and practical lessons that inspire curiosity and a passion for science.
- Support students in developing strong scientific knowledge, investigative skills and confidence.
- Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive and purposeful learning environment where all students can succeed.
- Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics.
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- High expectations for student achievement and progress.
- A commitment to inclusive practice and supporting learners of all abilities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A reflective and proactive approach to professional development.
