Logistics & Warehouse Manager is required by an Aberdare-based distributor.
A Logistics & Warehouse Manager is required for a rapidly growing supplier and distributor based in Aberdare. This is a full-time and permanent role, based on site 5 days a week and pays up to £50k. The successful candidate will be conscientious, hard-working and computer savvy, with strong management skills and an ability to multitask in pressurised situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Management - Ensure the company’s fleet of vans is consistently serviced, well maintained, and fully operational to support daily business activities.
- Order Accuracy & Coordination - Work closely with the office team to verify and correct any amendments to customer orders prior to dispatch, ensuring accuracy and high service standards.
- Warehouse Operations Management - Lead and manage a team of six responsible for picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading & Unloading Oversight - Manage a team of six responsible for unloading inbound containers and loading vans each day to ensure smooth and timely dispatch operations.
- Office & Delivery Planning Leadership - Supervise a team of six office staff who plan delivery routes and support a driving team of 26–30 drivers, ensuring efficient scheduling and operational effectiveness.
- Workforce Planning & Scaling - Identify staffing needs and plan workforce increases to accommodate growing demand over the next three years.
