Logistics Manager Dundee, £42,000 plus bonus
Your new company
An established UK-based manufacturing and contracting business operating across multiple sectors including social housing, student accommodation and build-to-rent. The organisation provides end-to-end solutions, covering manufacture, supply and installation, and is entering a phase of operational improvement focused on logistics performance, delivery reliability and cost control. The business is backed by significant investment and is scaling its operations to support continued growth.
Your new role
As Transport & Logistics Manager, you will design, lead and optimise the organisation’s logistics and transport function to improve delivery performance, increase operational control and drive cost efficiency. This role plays a key part in reviewing and reshaping the current logistics operating model, including outsourced arrangements, and implementing a scalable solution aligned to project-based, multi-site delivery. You will work closely with commercial, operational and installation teams to improve on-time, in-full delivery, customer experience and margin performance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in logistics or transport management within a manufacturing, construction or project-based delivery environment. You’ll bring a strong track record of improving underperforming logistics operations, managing third-party providers, and implementing systems, processes and KPIs. Strong commercial and analytical skills are essential, alongside the ability to operate hands-on in ambiguous or fast-changing environments. You’ll be comfortable challenging the status quo, influencing senior stakeholders, and working cross-functionally to deliver tangible improvements.
What you'll get in return
The salary on offer is £42,000 with the potential to make £50,000 based on a bonus. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape and embed a modern logistics function within a growing, well-backed business. You’ll have autonomy, visibility at senior level, and the chance to deliver measurable improvements across cost, service and customer satisfaction. A competitive salary and benefits package is available, alongside long-term career development as the business continues to scale.
