Loan Documentation Manager (Cantonese Speaking)

Are you an experienced loan documentation specialist looking to step into a leadership role with broad exposure across corporate and syndicated lending? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Loan Documentation & Securities team, taking ownership of complex transactions and driving excellence in documentation standards.
Your new role
- Lead the preparation, completion, and perfection of loan documentation across corporate and syndicated deals.
- Manage the review and negotiation of facility letters, LMA-based agreements, intercreditor arrangements, security documentation, and ancillary contracts.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with approved credit terms and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate legal opinions (including international entities) and manage conditions precedent/conditions subsequent tracking.
- Liaise with solicitors and third parties on documentation matters, attending calls or meetings where required.
- Oversee secondary trading documentation processes.
- Manage the execution of documents, ensuring proper signatory identification and timely return of executed paperwork.
- Supervise and guide team members, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong cross-departmental collaboration, including with Retail Teams and other business lines.
- Uphold robust risk management, compliance, and reporting standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Be a Native/Fluent Cantonese Speaker.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in loan documentation and/or commercial lending.
- Hold a Legal / Finance degree with a good academic background
- Familiarity with LMA documentation for both primary and secondary transactions (preferred).
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, negotiate, and manage complex workloads with accuracy and professionalism.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is beneficial.
