About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant on supply, you will play a key role in supporting teachers in a range of classroom settings, working with students of all abilities and ages across our Primary Schools in the West Midlands. The role is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, reliable, and eager to contribute to the education and development of children and have relevant UK recognised qualifications and experience. We’d love to hear from you if you are interested in making a difference in childrens lives, experienced across the UK primary curriculum, hold relevant qualifications or similar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Assisting students with learning activities, both individually and in groups.
- Providing extra support to students with additional learning needs.
- Helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Offering feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
- Managing classroom behaviour and safeguarding of children at all times.
- Using variety of different schemes of work and systems to support children’s learning, especially with English, Numeracy and Phonics.
About You:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, in a classroom setting in the UK.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work in various educational environments.
- A patient and caring attitude with a commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development.
A DBS check will be required as part of the onboarding and registration process, additionally we will require 2 professional references.
