Your new role

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children, including those with SEND or EAL needs.
• Assist with personal care routines and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Help prepare resources and maintain a safe, stimulating classroom environment.
• Use your knowledge of early childhood development to encourage language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
• Apply safeguarding practices and first aid knowledge when required.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working in a Nursery or EYFS setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Paediatric First Aid certificate (highly desirable).
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
