Level 3 Nursery Practitioner job in Stourbridge, Starting in October

This primary school is seeking a skilled and nurturing Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pre-school-aged children in small group settings, helping them build strong foundations for future learning.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will:
  • Support pre-school children in small groups, focusing on early phonics using the Single Set Phonics approach.
  • Observe and assess children’s development, writing detailed progress reports.
  • Provide regular feedback to parents/carers and the class teacher.
  • Help children work towards and achieve their individual learning goals.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Early Years team to deliver high-quality provision.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
  • Experience working with pre-school children in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and phonics-based learning.
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
  • A caring, proactive, and professional approach.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
