This fantastic nursery located in the Eastbourne area is looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their expanding team. The organisation is looking for a flexible Nursery Practitioner to work with them, that holds a Level 3 Qualification and has experience working with under 3's. They are open 07:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday all weeks of the year except for one week at Christmas. The nursery offers flexible childcare for children aged 7 months to 8 years old. They have been established since January 2017, offering mixed ages for some of the day to provide a nurturing and homely environment.

Your new role

Your role would be as a nursery practitioner in Eastbourne. You will be assisting with the day to day running of the classes, supporting the children and using your initiative to help them succeed. The role offers:

• Flexible hours to suit you
• Between 7:30am and 17:30pm

What you'll need to succeed

It is essential that you have NVQ Level 3 Child Care Qualification. You will need to have worked within a Nursery/primary/pre-prep environment in the last 2 years, that can provide a reference. You need to have a clean enhanced DBS Check on the update service or if not, the nursery will run an enhanced DBS check for you. You need to be flexible and most importantly, have a fun personality that the children will be able to engage with. It is important that you have a good understanding of children's development and their needs as well as ensuring positive management of children's behaviour. You will need to have experience working with under 3's as this will be the room that you will be based in for this role.
