The Role
As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant in Paignton, you will:
- Support children aged 0–5 within EYFS settings
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging early years activities
- Promote learning through play in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s social, emotional and developmental needs
- Work closely with class teachers and nursery staff
- Ensure a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years / EYFS (essential)
- Experience working within nurseries, preschools, or EYFS classrooms
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
