Level 3 Early Year Practitioner role in Dudley, starting in September.

This primary school is a well-established and inclusive school located in Dudley and part of the Catholic Academy Trust. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and faith-led environment where every child is supported to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. With a strong Early Years provision, the school places great emphasis on early development and personalised learning.

They are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join the team from September.

This role will involve:

  • Supporting children in the classroom and contributing to a positive learning environment
  • Taking responsibility for a key group of 8 pre-school children, tracking their progress and development
  • Delivering small group activities and supporting early learning goals
  • Preparing and serving snacks and lunches in line with health and safety standards
  • Delivering single-set phonics sessions and ensuring children meet the targets set by the class teacher
  • Writing weekly reports on each child’s progress and development
  • Working closely with the EYFS team to support children’s emotional and educational needs

What you'll need to succeed

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a nursery or Early Year's classroom setting
  • Confidence in delivering phonics and early learning activities
  • Strong organisational and observation skills
  • A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

What you'll get in return
