A Primary SEMH School/PRU in Salford is looking for three enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (TA2) to join their supportive team which caters for primary aged children with SEMH needs and/or who have been permanently excluded. These roles will be based across the school, helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. This is a welcoming, community-focused school with a strong commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing. Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Potential temp to perm)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Up to £125

• Support pupils with SEMH and Behavioural needs across the school
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and interventions.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using agreed strategies.
• Contribute to creating a calm, structured environment for learning.

• Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Team Teach trained – confident in using positive behaviour support techniques
• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs, preferably within a SEMH school, PRU or care setting
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships

• Empathetic and patient, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Adaptable and proactive, able to respond to individual needs.
• A positive communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
