Level 2 Teaching Assistant in Dudley, Starting in October

This primary school is a welcoming and inclusive school with a strong commitment to nurturing every child’s potential. They are currently looking for a compassionate and proactive Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our Key Stage 1 (KS1) pupils, working in small groups with lower ability and SEN children.

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support KS1 pupils in small group interventions, focusing on lower ability and SEN needs.
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to individual learning plans.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support holistic development

What you'll need to succeed :

  • A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting, particularly KS1.
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive practices.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
