Hays Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded high school in Chorley to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to cover a maternity leave starting immediately after the October half-term. Your new role

The successful candidate will be supporting pupils across a range of age groups and subjects, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, assist with classroom activities, and contribute to both the academic and emotional development of students.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), along with a flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning. Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Most importantly, you’ll bring a genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping young people thrive.
