Legal PA – Personal Assistant - Developer | Southampton

Your new company

We are collaborating with one of the UK’s most forward-thinking law firms, known for its innovation, collaboration, and ambition. With a strong presence across the South West and beyond, we’re proud to support a diverse client base – from household names to thriving startups. Our culture is refreshingly human, inclusive, and entrepreneurial, and we’re committed to making a positive impact on our people, clients, and communities.

Your new role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal PA to join our Developer (Transactional Property) team in Southampton. This is a full-time role supporting fee earners working on high-profile property development matters.
As a Legal PA, you’ll play a pivotal role in:

  • Preparing and formatting legal documents (contracts, title reports, land transfer forms).
  • Assisting with due diligence checks and reviewing land registry documents.
  • Maintaining site plans, plot schedules, and development trackers.
  • Liaising with surveyors, planning consultants, and local authorities.
  • Drafting and updating precedent letters and house-style documents.
  • Managing diaries, travel arrangements, and meeting preparation.
  • Responding to client queries with professionalism and clarity.
  • Generating and circulating client reports with timely updates.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative or secretarial background who is committed to building a career in legal support - not just seeking a stepping stone to qualification or a paralegal role.

What you'll need to succeed

We’re seeking candidates who:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Have prior experience in commercial property (preferred but not essential).
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Work methodically with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Share our values of innovation, collaboration, and ambition.

What you'll get in return

  • A competitive salary and performance-linked bonus.
  • Enhanced parental leave and private healthcare.
  • Mental health support, gym memberships, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Flexible working arrangements and a modern office environment.
  • 28 days annual leave, your birthday off, and a sabbatical every 5 years.
  • Access to coaching, mentoring, and professional development programmes.
  • Opportunities to give back through our CSR initiatives and charitable foundation.
