With operations spanning globally, the company continues to invest heavily in technology, digital transformation and modernisation across the business. Their operations function sits at the heart of the organisation and plays a vital role in enabling data-driven, technology ‑focused change. As the business continues to expand its digital footprint, including major IT programmes, cloud migration and growing adoption of AI tools, the demand for sophisticated commercial and legal expertise around supplier and technology contracting has never been greater.

Your new role

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with a global peer network, including legal professionals based internationally
  • Support major technology initiatives, including AI-related projects, proofs of concept, due diligence, and assurance processes.
  • Improve and streamline contracting processes by contributing to templates, playbooks and guidance materials.
  • Ensure regulatory and risk requirements are met across supplier engagements in a dynamic and evolving environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be front and centre of all technology contracting, influence commercial outcomes, and shape how the organisation partners with strategic vendors.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A qualified England & Wales lawyer
  • 3–6 years PQE (guideline only) .
  • Experienced in drafting and negotiating IT, SaaS, cloud and supplier contracts, ideally within a regulated environment.
  • Procurement experience
  • Comfortable working autonomously as the sole counsel in their domain, managing risk and advising senior stakeholders.
  • Confident, commercially minded and able to balance legal rigour with pragmatic business solutions.
  • Familiar with due diligence, proof of concept structures, and supplier assurance requirements.
  • A strong communicator who can build trust quickly and influence decisions at all levels.
  • Interested in emerging technologies, particularly AI and digital transformation initiatives.
Experience within financial services, insurance or similarly regulated industries is advantageous but not essential.

What you'll get in return

  • Full autonomy to own your legal remit across procurement and supplier management.
  • High-impact exposure to major technology projects and cutting-edge SaaS negotiations.
  • Global collaboration, working with legal teams across the UK, Europe and the US.
  • A supportive environment that encourages new ideas, continuous improvement and career development.
  • The chance to build a visible, influential role within a company undergoing significant digital evolution
