Learning Support Assistant – Gloucester
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?
We are seeking dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistants to work across a variety of schools and settings, making a real difference in the lives of young learners.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and other learning differences.
- Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with SEND (school-based or similar setting).
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.
