Your new company

Our client is a nationally recognised organisation with a clear social purpose. It’s a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your contribution genuinely makes a difference. We were really pleased when they contacted us and asked us to help find them a new member for the L & D team to fit into this brand-new job.

Your new role

We’re looking for a proactive Learning & Development Administrator to join a busy team dedicated to helping colleagues grow and succeed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating training activities, managing systems, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. CIPD level 3 would be well received but not a dealbreaker, although experience in an L & D team is essential.

What you’ll be doing day to day
  • Act as the first point of contact for L & D queries, providing helpful and timely support.
  • Manage starter and leaver processes, including induction bookings and account setup.
  • Maintain and update the Learning Management System and certification records with accuracy and 100% compliance.
  • Coordinate internal and external training from scheduling of training and booking trainers & attendees to feedback and certification.
  • Raising purchase orders and processing payments for the L & D team and activities.
  • Help to promote the hard work of the L & D team and drive engagement by recognising learning achievements across internal platforms.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help enhance the learner experience.
  • General team administrator

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role within Learning & Development.
  • Confident using Learning Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Laser-like attention to detail and 100% accuracy in data entry and record management.
  • Knowledge of finance processes (purchase orders, invoicing, payments).
  • CIPD Level 3 in L&D and experience working with external training providers would be nice but not critical.

What you'll get in return

A 12-month fixed-term contract with a good salary and fantastic benefits, such as 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown (you'll not need to negotiate festive holidays with your colleagues!) and 2 paid volunteering days per year, a very generous pension scheme, and an excellent employee assistance programme that includes 24/7 GP services & life assurance.
My client is in lovely new offices with plenty of onsite parking and very easily accessible from the A1, A14, A605.
