Learning and Development Digital Officer

Hays is partnering with a top 50 Law firm based throughout the UK. They are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Professional to join their team based in East Anglia, the successful candidate can be based at either Norwich, Ipswich or Chelmsford. Our client believes staff development and learning is an integral part of the firm’s strategic planning, enabling staff to perform their individual roles effectively and with confidence.
The successful candidate will have at least 12 months experience within a similar Learning and Development position, ideally with experience delivering digital training online.
Your new role
- Delivering and developing of the digital learning aspect of the Induction programme
- Design and delivery of digital learning material related to Business Systems to ensure the collateral available on the LMS is correct, up to date, relevant and accessible.
- Creating digital learning materials to support changes, upgrades and new Business system projects and delivery.
- Contributing to and assisting with quality assurance of electronic learning materials.
- Ensuring the learning environment and resources support learner needs and is accessible by all
What you'll need to succeed
- CIPD qualified or equivalent professional L&D or Instructional designer qualification
- Strong working knowledge of essential E-Learning authoring tools, key LMS authoring tools i.e.
Articulate (certification an advantage) - Demonstrable knowledge of applying visual design basics to create visually appealing and accessible instructional materials
- Advanced knowledge of L&D best practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation and to work collaboratively as part of a project team.
