Lead Building Services Engineer (Mechanical)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) to provide technical leadership and deliver high-quality engineering services across a diverse property portfolio. This role involves overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with statutory duties, and supporting the development of sustainable and efficient building services solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to deliver effective maintenance and project services.
- Provide expert guidance on mechanical building services engineering (BSE) systems and ensure technical excellence.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement resilient property maintenance strategies.
- Manage budgets, procurement processes, and contractor performance.
- Support the development of technical specifications, risk assessments, and engineering reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learnt and innovation.
Requirements:
- Degree or HND in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional registration as an Incorporated Engineer.
- Strong experience in mechanical BSE design, maintenance, and project delivery.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
